Bun Recipe

Ingredients

11/2 oz margarine
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp. honey
1/2 cup stout
11/2 cups flour
11/2 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 mixed spice
1/2 tbsp. cinnamon powder
1 egg
4 tbsp. raisins
4 tbsp. currants
2 tbsp. mixed peel, finely chopped

Cooking Directions

Dissolve margarine, sugar, honey and stout over low eat. Sift together the flour, baking powder and spices. Add egg, melted mixture and dried fruit. Mix well. Bake in a 9 inch x 4 loaf tin on the centre shelf at 350° F for 45 minutes
