1 1/4 cups grated coconut
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 cup flour
1/4 tbsp. grated nutmeg
1/4 salt
1/4 tbsp. bicarbonate of soda
Cooking Directions
Place the coconut in a bowl. Add sugar and sifted day ingredients. Work all tese ingredients together with te hand until a doughnis formed. Roll out paper thin. Cut into 2 in. rounds. Bake on greased tray on the top shelf at 375° F for 10 - 12 minutes. Tey because crisp on cooling. Store in an airtight tin. Make 25-30 biscuits.
