1/4 to 1/2 lb Cooked, Flaked Codfish
11/2 Cups Flour
Black Pepper
1 Chopped Escallion
4 Sprig Thyme
1 Small Onion Chopped
3/4 Cup Water
1/4 Cup Oil
Cooking Directions
Mix all the dry ingredients together. Stir in the water then beat to form a fritter batter. Drop the fritters from a large spoon into the hot oil in a frying pan. Turn as the fritters begin to brown at the edges. Drain and Serve hot.
